Very beautifully located in the Herztal hiking area near Bottenau, the outdoor area lovingly designed by landlady "Moni"! Good food, fair prices. Friendly and attentive service, always worth a visit!

Very nice restaurant with a very nice outdoor area. New wine, Flädlesuppe, goulash soup, the "salted" ones, the pork loin with pepper cream sauce ... were very tasty (there were two of us 😄) ... The owner is friendly, attentive, suggests side dishes, is experienced and ready to have fun . And there is a good mood, despite Corona. We can't understand the negative reviews in any way, neither can the host, we talked to him about it. In addition, the restaurant is not huge either, so you can actually see the counter from every seat. Our food was served almost at the same time, there was nothing to complain about here either. We have been there for the fourth time in the last six years ... due to vacation ... and we will return there again and again in the future. I would like to mention that all Corona measures are followed. Thank you for a very nice evening!

Super fresh, crispy salads, great dishes and favorite dishes from childhood and the region. .. also very tasty cakes for the weekend in the buffet .... very nice staff ... a bit of patience and indulgence with the service is required and wine bottles should remain ice-cold at the table ... We were looking forward to a delicious meal, but that was a disappointment. We had to wait an excessively long time at the entrance until the waitress finally came and took us to our table. The two conditions ran frantically from the kitchen outside with food or drinks on the terrace and back again. After we finally had our drinks, it took 45 minutes for the salad to arrive, I had also ordered a pumpkin cream soup, that was forgotten. Of course I wanted to eat my soup first and then the salad, so I asked the waitress to take it back and bring the soup. The soup tasted okay, but not very creamy. My husband had a vintner's steak with fried potatoes, it took another 15 minutes for the food to come. On the plate was the steak and a huge pile of fried potatoes, the eye also eats. It was not very appealing and tasted, so it worked. The icing on the cake was my cheese spaetzle. I have often eaten cheese spaetzle but never so dry, with very little cheese and onions, not seasoned. It was a mass of pasta stuck together. It was said, be careful, very hot! The noodles in the plate were half warm, but cold inside. I don't think that these pasta were baked in the oven, but rather heated in the microwave, so it's not that warm in the middle. I complained to the waitress after a few bites. She listened to my complaint and was very nice, she offered me something else, possibly a dessert, she wouldn't charge for it. That was okay, but I wasn't hungry anymore and so we left. We will definitely not come back and cannot recommend it.

Very bad. I have been working in gastronomy for over 30 years ... The food was very low quality, the bottle of Chardonay cabinet was served without a wine cooler ... then they brought the wine cooler but without ice cubes 👎👎 (only warm plastic). Sour roast and beef tongue both with Burgundy Fix and Ready Sauce, the worst meal lately. We haven't seen the waitress in the last hour 🤪🤪 Pay only in cash 👎👎 and they got us more ... Nothing recommendable nie Sorry, never again!

High Class Restaurant with reasonable prices

Really good home cooking. We ended up in the winemaker's room by chance. In the meantime, very much like to eat there. Service great and extremely friendly. There is also food before 5 p.m. We can only recommend it. The cakes are awesome! Prices absolutely fine.

A very nice restaurant in an amazing location. We were around on a very busy weekend with about 10 people. The service was very nice. The food was good for all the dishes around the table with very large portions.

A good German style restaurant with traditional southern German food. The prices are on the higher side but considering the generous portions, the taste and the views in the surroundings, I think it's worth it to go there.

Great local find. Came here with partners grandma. Great portion size and great prices. Well cooked food and cozy feel. Food is traditional of the area.
